Nano


Altivar 28 is a simple and compact drive with ideal performance for small machines up to 15 kW. Its putting into operation is reduced to simple connection only.
 
A flexible and varied range

The Nano PLC is easily adapted to a wide variety of applications:

From 10 to 48 I/O
24 VDC or 100-240 VAC supply
24 VDC or 115 VAC inputs
0.5 A transistor (positive or negative logic) or 2 A relay outputs.
Since its I/O are compatible with such control system components as two or three-wire proximity sensors, photo-electric cells, or contactors, no interface is needed and setup is simplified. The integrated analog potentiometers on the front panel make it easy to debug and run applications.

Micro
Micro is the PLC of choice for smaller machines, mobile systems and vehicles where minimal space requires maximum compactness, or when environmental conditions demand reliable performance. Integration, selection of bases

The base configuration of the Micro includes the power supply (24Vdc or 220Vac), CPU with memory, mini operator dialog, as well as the different communication ports.To meet various size needs, the Micro offers a choice of 5 modular configurations, each offering several levels of integration (I/O, analog, counting) and openness (PCMCIA for communication).

Adaptable capacity, modularity

The Micro offers over 40 different specialty modules, including positioning/rapid counting, measuring and regulation (lower upper level, sensor, thermo element), safety, 24Vdc or 220Vac, single or double format, modularity (8, 16, 32, 64). All types of discrete I/O can be used within the same configuration.The Micro can also integrate other components from the Schneider range, such as Altivar variable speed drives and Magelis HMI operator terminals, for simple and efficient global solutions.

Exceptional performance

To provide incredibly fast response times, the Micro uses a fast execution time of 0.15µ for Boolean, and a programmable filtering for I/O of 0.1ms to 7.5ms for event processing coming from application modules as well as rapid outputs. Transparent architectures

The Premium platform provides transparent exchanges between the various devices in the architecture. This unique advantage makes it possible to communicate with any other station on the network as if it were physically connected to the terminal or the PLC. Any object in the application (program , variable, I/O, etc) becomes very easy to access. The designer uses a function block to exchange data. The protocol is transparently managed by the application.
By integrating Ethernet TCP/IP technologies, Premium supports Transparent Factory architectures and removes the need for the proprietary networks in favor of universal standards.

Customed features and cost reduction


By taking account of the restrictions connected with the life cycle of your equipment, Premium-based solutions can reduce the overall cost of your machines.
Design is made much easier by the integration of application-specific functions in the PLC. Functions which require special knowledge can be incorporated using customized kits. The numerous options in terms of fieldbus / sensor bus architecture and the Telefast pre-wiring solutions considerably reduce wiring costs.
The extreme compactness of Premium reduces the dimensions of enclosures, and enables it to be mounted directly on the machine frame. The use of high density cards (64 I/O), together with the Telefast pre-wiring system, rationalizes the design and manufacture of enclosures.

Telefast 2 fast connection

Telefast 2 can be used for the fast connection of I/O modules (discrete,analog, counter). It replaces the terminal blocks in enclosures and provides direct 2 or 3-wire connection of the machine sensors and actuators (distribution of the commons). Telefast is connected directly to Premium high density cards via prefabricated cables. This leads to a significant reduction in wiring and testing costs. The Telefast range includes all types of fixed and removable transistor and relay interfaces.
